Baaghi 2’, starring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in leading roles, is off to a phenomenal start at the domestic box office with a collection of approximately Rs 25 crore and second day its 22 crore nett, according to a report on BoxofficeIndia.com.
The high-octane action flick has checked itself in the list of highest opening Bollywood films of all time. In fact, the film is now reported to be the highest opening by a young star, a record previously held by Ranbir Kapoor for the film ‘Besharam’, which had earned Rs 19.87 crore. The film has also beaten Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Bang Bang’, to take the 14th spot in the top 15 highest opening days of all time.
Tiger’s ‘Baaghi 2’ has managed to attain this stupendous feat without a big holiday like Eid, Diwali, Christmas, or other national holidays. Trade analysts are already predicting that the film will be an ensured hit with its high opening numbers. With a three day weekend, box office numbers are expected to rise further over the weekend and with no major movie up for release in the coming week, the cash counters are expected to go on ringing.

Also starring Manoj Bajpayee, Prateik Babbar, Randeep Hooda and Jacqueline Fernandez in a cameo, the film has been directed by Ahmed Khan
